Sir John Mills and his daughters take over the guest star roster with a little help from David Hedison. Gopher's secret celebrity crush (Hayley Mills) is aboard as a passenger, and Smith can barely stay out of his daydreams about her to talk to the star in real life. A spinster (Celeste Holm) discovers her true love may be her very own chauffeur (John Mills).

Millicent (Juliet Mills) and her son Lucas embark to celebrate his birthday, only to discover to Lucas' delight and Millicent's consternation, her ex-husband, Lucas' father, is also a passenger. Now the acrimony of the failed marriage is complicating the trip. Both adults are miserable and Lucas has overheard an argument and is now convinced he is the cause of their break-up. Making matters even worse, Sherman has admitted he came aboard hoping to reconcile with Millicent. Can an inflexible mother and an indulgent father reach a compromise that will somehow make them a functional family again?
