 The very wealthy and thoroughly unpleasant Marian Ryan (Carolyn Jones) has been found stabbed to death among smashed objets d'art and missing paintings. Is it an art theft gone awry or murderous revenge by an angry employee from her publishing empire? There's certainly no shortage of suspects: Vance the reticent art dealer (Lloyd Bochner), Gebhardt the troubled artist (Gino Conforti), Calvin the kept husband (David Hedison), Norma the fired editor (Linda Marsh) or Beverly the replacement editor (Keith Rogers). Any one of them had motive, means and opportunity. Looks like Perry Mason is in for a crash course in art history and a refresher course on homicide! |
